Overcoming Bikini Phobia

A “Loving Your Body” Event

The “Get a Bikini Body” diet plans and fitness advertisements are everywhere. These ads generate the idea that your body needs to look a particular way before you can put a bikini on it.

Do YOU want a “Bikini Body?” … I have a secret… YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE!

Are you afraid to be seen in a bikini?

Does the thought of wearing a bikini make you feel anxious, nervous, or scared?

Do you feel self-conscious when wearing a bikini to the beach, the lake, or the neighborhood pool party?

Do you avoid opportunities to have FUN in the sun because you don’t want to be seen wearing a bikini?

Do you think bikinis are only for those of a certain age or body-type?

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Many women feel uncomfortable or ashamed about their bodies. Our culture encourages women to believe that they are supposed to look a particular way – and that there is something wrong with them if they don’t.

But, I have great news …. IT’S NOT TRUE!

The conditioning we have received throughout our lives about our bodies may reach far deeper than you realize. But, there is hope! Studies show that people who reject their culture’s beauty standards experience more self-acceptance than those who don’t.

At this event you will:

Cultivate a sense of compassion and self-love

Begin to break through your cultural conditioning around appearance

Be lovingly supported while getting comfortable with your body in a bikini

Be reminded that you have the perfect body RIGHT NOW

Gain more self-confidence

Have FUN!

My name is Lisa Vincent. I am a life coach and creator of the Loving Your Body workshop series. I created this bikini event after overcoming my own bikini phobia and, at age 46, breaking a 20-year, self-imposed bikini-ban! I couldn’t have done this without the care and support of a compassionate coach, and now I want to help you find the freedom that I have found. I love the way I feel in a bikini and I would love for YOU to feel good in one too.

Overcoming Bikini Phobia is a 3-hour event where women come together in support of body freedom for everyone.

The event will include:

Group discussions and individual exploration

The opportunity to get more comfortable wearing a bikini through practice

Deep connections with other amazing women

Optional hot tub time FUN

Light, healthy snacks

Part of learning a new behavior, or changing an old one, is practice. With this in mind, we will ALL be wearing our bikinis throughout the event, (regardless of whether you decide to stay for the hot tub party) so bring your bikini, beach wrap, towel, and whatever else you need to feel comfortable.

Special Note: Attending the day-long Loving Your Body Workshop for Women is required before enrollment for Overcoming Bikini Phobia. Please contact me if you have questions or would like to discuss.
